Course Outline

Length of Course: One semester (14 weeks)

Classroom Hours Per Week: 10 hours lecture

Number of Credits: 6 credits

Prerequisite: C+ or higher in English 098, 099 LWA placement or equivalent external score

Description of Course:

An accelerated introductory French course covering the basics of French conjugation and grammar, as well as useful vocabulary. The student will recognize the structure of the French sentence which is different than the English sentence. At the end of this course, the student will be able to write simple and concise paragraphs in French, and be able to communicate orally in an effective manner.
