All students are responsible for obtaining and maintaining adequate medical insurance. Students arriving in British Columbia are not immediately eligible for coverage with the British Columbia Medical Services Plan; however, they are encouraged to apply shortly after their arrival. Applications are available in Student Services or from the College Nurse, as well as on line: www.healthservices.gov.bc.ca/msp/
The cost for this coverage is currently $54.00 per month.

Those students arriving in British Columbia who have not already arranged for private medical coverage for their first three months may purchase it during the Orientation and Registration period at the College.
