A History of Art: An Introduction

Course Description

This course examines the visual arts, including painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, and architecture, from prehistory to the present. While emphasis is placed on the arts of Europe and the United States, those of Latin America, Africa and Asia are also discussed.
