Course Description:

This course is an introduction to Anatomy and Physiology, covering basic cell biology and histology, as well as an introduction to the structure and function of the human muscular, skeletal, cardiovascular, immune, endocrine, respiratory, urinary, digestive, and neural systems.

11 Introduction to the lymphatic system
12 Introduction to the respiratory system
13 Introduction to the digestive system
14 Final Exam

On completion of this course, students will be able to locate and identify various anatomical structures and explain their functions. Students will be able to measure human pulse, blood pressure, and lung vital capacity. They will also be able to identify parts of an ECG wave and what they represent. Students will learn how to use a stethoscope, a sphygmomanometer, and a spirometer.
