ELIGIBILITY
To qualify for the Langara College Bioinformatics Pathway, Columbia College students must:

Maintain a minimum Program Grade Point Average (PGPA) of 2.3.

Ensure that eligible courses were completed within the last three years to be applied toward the degree.

Complete the required 46-credit course block at Columbia College, including courses in:

Biology

Chemistry

Computer Science

Mathematics

Note that up to five seats per intake are reserved for qualified Columbia College students.
Program format
- Begin your studies at Columbia College and transition to Langara to complete your degree
- Langara College provides conditional acceptance to students who apply during Year 1 or Year 2 of their studies at Columbia College
- After transfer, students complete bridging courses such as Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Genetics at Langara College.
- After completing bridging courses, students enter Year 3 of the degree.
- Graduates are prepared for careers in personalized medicine, biotechnology, environmental sustainability, microbiology, and more.
