Tutoring Guidelines
While tutors cannot edit your paper or generate ideas for you, they can provide feedback, highlight grammar issues, offer ways to improve your skills, help you understand assignment instructions and instructor comments, and clarify some topic-specific questions.
To reserve a time, please book online using the button on this page. Drop-in help is not guaranteed, but you can check if a tutor is available. If they are not working with a student, tutors will let you know whether they are free.
No tutors available at your preferred time? Depending on your question, there may be other support available:
- Library staff (no appointment needed): consult about finding sources, citing (MLA, APA, Chicago), and maintaining academic integrity
- Your instructor (office hours): ask questions about course content, assignment requirements, and writing
Cancellation/No-show Policy

- Students with more than two no-shows or cancellations may have their existing bookings removed and face restrictions on future appointments.
- Need to cancel or reschedule? Please click RESCHEDULE or CANCEL in your confirmation email (sent after booking an appointment).
