ABOUT THE CLUB
The Chinese Language & Culture Association is a vibrant club dedicated to exploring the rich tapestry of Chinese civilization while fostering cross-cultural understanding. Open to all students—regardless of background or experience—the club creates an engaging space to learn about Chinese history, traditions, and language through interactive and accessible sessions held twice a week.
What to Expect:
Each week is divided into two themed sessions:
🐉Session 1: Delve into Chinese history and culture through interactive discussions and games that highlight fascinating (and often untaught) aspects of China’s history
🐉Session 2: With a focus on Chinese languages, this session offers students a chance to develop reading, writing, and conversational skills in Mandarin Chinese. Lessons are beginner-friendly!
🐉Bonus: Off-Campus Trips to learn more about Chinese Society and History in Vancouver!
