International students holding a valid Study Permit at the post-secondary level in Canada are allowed to work off-campus on a part-time basis for up to 20 hours per week during the semester.

Current On-Campus Volunteer Opportunities
Join a team of student volunteers to make a difference:
- Complete Mental Health Ambassador training
- Participate in team meetings
- Take part in volunteer/leadership meetings
- Plan and organize mental health and wellness events, activities and workshops
- Assists with event management
- Observe the needs of the CC student community and report them to the mental health staff
- Promotes events and activities via social media and interpersonal interactions
Time Commitment: 10 hours per semester
📑Requirements:
- Preferably available on Tuesday mornings, Thursdays, and Fridays
- Students with a Psychology concentration are encouraged to apply.
- Additional training will need to be completed by all students before officially accepted as a Mental Health Ambassador.
