International students holding a valid Study Permit at the post-secondary level in Canada are allowed to work off-campus on a part-time basis for up to 20 hours per week during the semester.

Current On-Campus Volunteer Opportunities

Join a team of student volunteers to make a difference:

  • Complete Mental Health Ambassador training
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Take part in volunteer/leadership meetings
  • Plan and organize mental health and wellness events, activities and workshops
  • Assists with event management
  • Observe the needs of the CC student community and report them to the mental health staff
  • Promotes events and activities via social media and interpersonal interactions

Time Commitment: 10 hours per semester

📑Requirements:

  • Preferably available on Tuesday mornings, Thursdays, and Fridays
  • Students with a Psychology concentration are encouraged to apply.
  • Additional training will need to be completed by all students before officially accepted as a Mental Health Ambassador.
