SUCCESS Volunteer Info Booth

S.U.C.C.E.S.S (one of Columbia College’s community partners) will be hosting an info booth to promote their annual Walk With The Dragon fundraising event (July 10th) and recruiting volunteers for the event. This event is one of BC’s largest family walks, and the funds raised are crucial for their programs and services that receive partial or no government funding. As with previous years, the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Dragon will be “awakened” at a special ceremony before leading thousands of participants along a scenic route at Stanley Park.
Some of the volunteer roles they will be recruiting for the event include crowd control crew, pre-event set up team, clean-up crew, on-route cheer team, activities booth assistant, registration helpers etc. This will be a great opportunity for students to volunteer in their community while meeting new people!
