Math Placement Test (MPT 2 with 32) or Mathematics 100 with a B or Mathematics 110 with B or Precalculus 12 with C or MATH 111 with C-
Note: Credit will be granted for only one of MATH 111 or MATH 113 or MATH 115.
This is the first course in calculus deigned for students majoring in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Computing Science and Engineering. Students continuing on to a university in these fields are advised to enroll in MATH 113 and then MATH 114. Calculus I covers continuity, derivatives and antiderivatives of the elementary functions, and applications of the derivative in graphing and extremum problems.
