Student Services is committed to providing all Columbia College students with accessible, confidential, and supportive health services and resources. Staying healthy and feeling well is an important process that directly impacts your quality of life and the ability to accomplish your academic goals at the college. Making positive choices in support of your health helps you to have an optimistic view of the world. Inform yourself about the kinds of support services Columbia College offers to students as well as additional tools and resources, or see the nurse, a counsellor, or your teacher if you have questions or concerns about your health and wellness.
Counsellors are available in Student Services (Room 211) in the Main Campus, 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, and 9:30am-5pm on Saturday.
First Aid Room and Nurse’s Hours
The College has fully stocked first aid rooms (room 223 at the Main Campus and Room 403 at the North Campus.) The licensed practical nurses are available to see students on a drop-in basis to provide treatment for minor ailments, give health and nutritional advice, assist students applying for medical insurance, and direct students to medical resources in the community.
